| Here are a few case studies of the CGI workflow. |
|
|
1: Bathroom Set
Roomsets are traditionally expensive to commission. A large studio is needed, set-building, decoration and props all add to the cost before a shot is taken. Apart from cost savings, CGI offers a far greater level of image control over a traditional photographic shoot. It is simply a few clicks of the mouse to move walls, floors, re-tile etc. |

2: Chameleon
Traditionally this image would have been produced by model making the Chameleon and text. Once again it would be a very expensive model to make look real, plus once made there would be no way of making adjustments to the body position or skin texture. CGI once again makes images like this more affordable and allows maximum creative control of every element of the final image. |

3: Bathroom 2
Once again a good example of the benefits of CGI over traditional photography. Sets can be re-tiled and painted with a few clicks of the mouse. Various cameras can be set up to "shoot" from various angles and several lighting setups can be used, once again all done through 3D software. |
